Ginew Waxed Canvas Rider Jacket Brown

Waxed unlined workwear jacket in cotton that will get an incredibly nice patina over time.

The style is inspired by the designer's grandfather's motorcycle jacket that he used to wear when he rode his Harley Davidson to and from work in the 50s and 60s. It has a little extra length in the arms and waist to prevent cold wrists and back.

The jacket is made from 280g Army Duck waxed canvas* for durability and resistance to wind and rain (though not waterproof). The waxing is done without harmful chemicals or solvents.

*Army Duck Canvas is a cotton quality that is woven in a special way so that the fabric is extra resistant to both tears and water. The fabric can then be further treated with, for example, wax for additional water repellency (which has been done in the case of the Ginew Rider Jacket).

NOTE: This is not a CE approved motorcycle jacket and it does not have pockets for impact protection in the shoulders or back. If it is to be used as a motorcycle jacket, you will therefore need to supplement it with a Pando Shell UH03 Base Layer Jacket or equivalent.
