Rev'it Nucleus Protector Jacket
Nucleus can be worn as a standalone jacket or as a protective base layer under any jacket. As with similar products on the market, the basic idea is to ensure that the impact protectors fit tightly against the body and actually protect as they should if an accident occurs.
The jacket is made of durable, breathable material that provides good sliding protection and then has a combination of level 1 and 2 impact protection in the shoulders, elbows, chest, back and sides. This sets this jacket apart from many of its competitors from other brands where protection is often limited to shoulders, elbows and back.
The collar is low-cut so as not to cut into the neck. The cuff has an elastic thumb strap to prevent the jacket from sliding up the arm.
Something we appreciate is a sturdy hanger at the neck to be able to hang the jacket on a hook (something we've missed on some similar products from other brands).
